User Interface Guide

Get familiar with the Home Renovation Pro interface to navigate the platform efficiently.

Main Navigation

The main navigation is located on the left side of your screen and provides access to all major sections:

• Dashboard: Your home base with an overview of all projects
• Projects: Access and manage your renovation projects
• Tasks: View and manage tasks across all projects
• Budget: Track expenses and manage your budget
• Contractors: Find and communicate with contractors
• Community: Connect with other homeowners
• Help: Access help articles and support

Top Bar

The top navigation bar contains:

• Search: Find anything across the platform
• Notifications: View system and project notifications
• Messages: Access your communication hub
• Profile: Access your account settings

Project Interface

When viewing a project, you'll see these sections:

• Overview: Project summary with key information
• Tasks: List of all tasks for the project
• Budget: Financial tracking for this project
• Timeline: Visual schedule of your project
• Team: Everyone involved in your project
• Files: Documents, images, and other files
• Notes: Project notes and documentation

Common Controls

Throughout the interface, you'll find these common controls:

• + Button: Add new items (projects, tasks, etc.)
• Filter: Narrow down lists based on criteria
• Sort: Change the order of listed items
• Search: Find specific items within a section
• More (...) Menu: Access additional options
